The Arts Excite is delighted to receive funding to run two pilot projects, to support the social enterprises work with children and young people.

This year The Arts Excite have received funding from, The School of Social Entrepreneurs and JMD MEDIA LAB, Arts Award Access Fund and Slough Borough Council. The funding will be used to support two groups of young people ( up to 15 in each) to use their creativity and artistic talents to make a difference in their local community. Working with local charity and community groups the young people will be set a brief which will form the foundation of their projects, and they will respond to their briefs in away that allows them help those charitable groups champion their causes through the young peoples skills and Imagination.

The pilot projects will begin in August 2013 and we will begin recruiting for young people and artists shortly, so watch this space.
