Course aim

 To develop skills in art through exploring a range of arts and crafts techniques.

Course description

 A fun course which will hone and develop the skills of young artists in a range of disciplines including but not limited to:

·      Illustration

·      Comic book design

·      Stencil graffiti

·      Still life 

This is an Arts Award programme which will include students learning from professional artists and a visit to an arts gallery for inspiration. The trip will require parental permission.

The course concludes with an exhibition of students work.

What will students achieve?

No previous skills or experience is necessary but students should have a passion for art.

Is there anything students need to bring?

Students will gain Arts Award qualification appropriate to their age and level when they successfully complete this course. This is a nationally recognised qualification which certifies the development of their arts skills, knowledge and experience.
